Objectives and rules governing density of the postal network and minimum services

Having considered that the proposal put by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT) on 29 May 2014 did not meet the needs of users under the terms of the current legal framework, and after the prior hearing of CTT and of users, by determination of 28 August 2014, ANACOM has approved the objectives of postal network density and minimum services.

Simultaneously, a draft decision was adopted concerning the information that CTT is now required to disclose and keep up-to-date on its website, within a period of 2 months, on all postal establishments (post offices and postal agencies) in operation, including information on their location, opening hours and the services provided.

This draft decision is submitted to a prior hearing of CTT and of users, whereby interested parties are given 15 working days to state their positions, where they see fit to do so, in writing, and preferably by email sent to consulta.rede.ctt@anacom.ptmailto:consulta.rede.ctt@anacom.pt1. Once the consultation process has been concluded, the contributions received will be made public. Therefore, for the purposes of publication on this website, interested parties should also submit a non-confidential version of their responses, excluding any items considered confidential,

Under the terms of the same determination of 28 August 2014, approval was given to the report on the prior hearing of CTT and of users, to which the respective draft decision of 26 June 2014 was submitted.
