The third meeting of CPG PTC, the group preparing European positions for the next World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-11), was held last 29 September-3 October in Estoril, Portugal.
The briefs for each of the agenda items under the group's responsibility were updated, while attention also focused on issues associated to aeronautic mobile service (AM(R)S), i.e., the regulatory conditions applicable to new systems in the 112-117.975 MHz, 960-1164 MHz and 5000-5030 MHz bands, spectrum requirements for implementing radio-finding service in bands between 30 MHz and 300 MHz, and the question of revising Appendix 17 with respect to mobile maritime service.
