Summary: This publication contains a set of statistical data characterizing the situation in OECD by the end of 2005, in terms of broadband Internet access. Among of the study’s main conclusions, highlight goes to the increase registered during 2005 in the number of broadband subscribers in the countries belonging to OECD, which went from 136 million subscribers in June 2005 to around 158 million at the end of 2005.
