Portugal ratified the Final Acts of the Plenipotentiary Conference held in Minneapolis, EUA, from 12 October to 6 November 1998, pursuant to President of the Republic Decree no. 25/2004, of 4 May 2004, previously approved, for ratification, by the Parliament Resolution no. 36/2004, also of 4 May 2004.
These Acts contain the amendments to the Constitution and Convention of the International Telecommunication Union (UIT) ? the Union fundamental instruments, approved by the Plenipotentiary Conference of Geneva, in 1992, and amended for the first time at the Plenipotentiary Conference of Kyoto, in 1994 ? and the statements and reserves formulated at the time of its signature.
