On 5 January 2018, Regulation no. 6/2018https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1428570 (Regulamento n.º 6/2018) was published in Series II of Diário da República (Official Journal) on the registration of undertakings offering electronic communications networks and services (as approved by ANACOM's final decision of 14 December 2017https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1425545).
This Regulation regulates the notification obligations imposed on undertaking which offer or intend to offer electronic communications networks and services, as regards identification, contact details, commencement, modification and discontinuation of their activity; it also sets out the rules governing the maintenance of their registration by ANACOM, all with a view to pursuing the principle of good administration.
The Regulation enters into force on 16 February, 30 days following its publication in the Diário da República (Official Journal), except the provisions relating to the extract of the registration entry which only enter into force upon approval of the respective model.
