The Portuguese Committee of URSI has launched a call for papers in preparation of its 10th Congress, which will take place on 18 November 2016, in Lisbon. The Congress will focus on the theme "Communications in safety and emergency scenarios."
Aiming to encourage young Portuguese authors, ANACOM sponsors the Best Student Paper Award, which will be awarded to the best paper presented by a student who is both its first author and who makes a presentation of the paper at the Congress. Entries must be submitted no later than 10 October 2016, together with submission of the article (confirmation of the author's academic status may be required).
The Portuguese Committee of URSI, with sponsorship granted by ANACOM, will award the ''ANACOM-URSI Portugal Prize'', which distinguishes the best research work in the field of Radioelectricity. Entries must be submitted no later than 10 October 2016.
