The Chair and Vice-Chairs of BEREC and the Independent Regulators Group (IRG) held a video-conference last 24 March 2015.
The discussion centred on recent developments in the Connected Continent regulatory proposal's legislative process, the status of meetings with the European Commission (EC) to discuss the digital single market, and organisation of the BEREC Stakeholders Forum 2015. Several other issues concerning BEREC’s international activities and administrative questions were also dealt with.
Besides the Chair of ANACOM’s Board of Directors, who heads both BEREC and the IRG this year, the participants included Wilhelm Eschweiler (Bundesnetzagentur - BNetzA), Marc Furrer (Federal Communications Commission - ComCom), Lidia Kozlowska (Office of Electronic Communications - UKE), Tom Boyce (representing the Head of the Commission for Communications Regulation - ComReg) and Ola Bergstrom (representing the Director-General of the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency - PTS).
