By determination of 24 July 2014, ANACOM has approved a draft decision on the rules governing the inventory of assets attached to the CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT) concession, to be applied from the 2014 financial year, inclusive.
This decision stems from the transitional rule laid down in paragraph 1 of article 5 of Decree-Law no. 160/2013 of 19 November, according to which ANACOM is bound to define the rules governing the inventory, to take place within 180 days following the conclusion of the amendment to the universal postal service concession contract, in accordance with the alterations to the concession bases enacted by this Decree-Law. The amendment to the concession contract was enacted on 31 December 2013.
It was also decided to submit this draft decision to the prior hearings of CTT for a period of 20 days under the terms of the Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code).
