On 17 May, and following its statement of 4 April 2014, the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) issued an opinion on the European Parliament's vote on the "Connected Continent'' legislative package.
The legislative package was presented by the European Commission (EC) with the goal of creating a single market in telecommunications.
