Development and implementation of a fixed termination cost model - consultation

Complying with the Recommendation on the regulatory treatment of fixed and mobile termination rates in the European Union (EU) and given the complexity and importance of the model to be developed, by determination of 27 November 2013, ANACOM has approved the holding of a public consultation on the methodological definition regarding the development and implementation of a fixed termination cost model. The consultation document includes the report "Conceptual approach for the fixed BULRIC model" prepared by the consulting firm Analysys Mason on the methodological options to consider in developing the fixed termination cost model.

Under the general consultation procedure, a period of 20 working days has been provided for interested parties to comment. As such, comments, which should be sent by email to consulta.ftr@anacom.ptmailto:consulta.ftr@anacom.pt1, must be received no later than 30 December 2013.

Once the consultation process has been concluded, the contributions received will be made public, whereby, for the purposes of publication on this website, interested parties should also submit a non-confidential version of their responses, excluding items considered confidential.

On 13 December, a working session will be held with the operators concerned, with the presence of the consulting firm Analysys Mason (venue to be decided).
