Development and implementation of a fixed termination cost model - methodological definition

By determination of 27 November 2013, ANACOM has approved the holding of a public consultation on the methodological definition regarding the development and implementation of a fixed termination cost model. The consultation document includes the report "Conceptual approach for the fixed BULRIC model" prepared by the consulting firm Analysys Mason, regarding the methodological options to be considered in developing the fixed termination cost model.

Under the general consultation procedure provided for in article 8 of Lei das Comunicações Eletrónicas (Electronic Communications Law - Law no. 5/2004 of 10 February, as amended by Law no. 51/2011 of 13 September), a period of 20 working days has been provided for interested parties to comment.

It was also decided to host a working session with the operators concerned and with the presence of the consulting firm, to take place during the consultation period.
