Body of European Regulators (BEREC) - 1st meeting on 28 January 2010


The new Body of European Regulators of Electronic Communications (BEREC), which will replace the European Regulators Group (ERG), has its first meeting scheduled for 28 January 2010 in Brussels. This was one of the main conclusions emerging from the last ERG Plenary, which took place in Warsaw (Poland) on 3-4 December 2009.

At this meeting, the ERG addressed the following issues: 2010 Work Programme; report on  ''Replicability of bundles from the perspective of the availability of wholesale inputs and access to content''; network neutrality; ERG/Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) cooperation; the launch of a Public Consultation on the Draft Report on ''Business Connectivity - Regulation of Wholesale Access Services''; conformance monitoring programme with respect to the common positions of the ERG; and the future of European roaming regulation.
