Brussels hosted last 12 October the seventh meeting of the Postal Directive Committee working group. The participants considered the subject of cost assignment and accounts separation between regulated and non-regulated products. Presentations were given on the experience of various postal sector regulators in this area, namely those from the USA (US Postal Regulatory Commission), Ireland (ComReg) and France (ARCEP). Also presented were the main conclusions and best practices identified in the WIK consultancy report for the European Commission on Europe-wide postal sector regulation.
