The Norwegian city of Kristiansand hosted last 7-8 May a meeting of European Regulators Group (ERG) Contact Network. The participants debated the Commission's proposed recommendation on next generation access (NGA) networks - still not made public - and the possibility of the ERG presenting contributions for that proposal, as well as the response to the subsequent public consultation. The proposed VoIP action plan report was presented, along with the updated fourth roaming specification model and a report indicating the current situation of the ERG guidelines for the Roaming Regulation. Also considered was the work of the various project teams: NGN, Remedies, International Roaming, Customer Empowerment, Significant Market Power, I/ERG-RSPG Co-operation and Benchmarking.
