The Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM) integrates, since the 1st of January 2003, the DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) Project, an European organization that develops open digital television standards.
The DVB is presently preparing aMultimedia Home Platform (MHP), an important part of the development of interactive services, in particular in the scope of Digital Terrestrial Television.
