The Secretary of State Assistant and for Public Works and Communications, Paulo Campos, will preside at the 4th World Telecommunication Policy Forum (WTPF-09), which is held at the Lisbon Congress Centre in Junqueira, Lisbon between 22 and 24 April.
The Forum, which is organised by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), a specialist organisation of the United Nations for the sector, be attended by hundreds of national and international participants comprising industry representatives, government officials and sectoral experts.
The event was preceded, on 21 April by a Strategic Dialogue, which will bring together persons of recognized importance in this area to discuss the impact of the financial crisis in the telecommunications sector.
