Following SONAECOM's submission to renounce the right to use frequencies, ANACOM decided to revoke, by determination of 4 February 2009, the right of SONAECOM - Serviços de Comunicações to use the block of 5 MHz TDD UMTS frequencies, corresponding to 1900-1905 MHz, which were allocated to the company for the operation of the International mobile telecommunications system (IMT-2000/UMTS), and further to proceed with respective recovery.
