On 27 August 2008, ANACOM appointed the Commission concerned with the public tender opened on 23 August for the allocation of a right of use for frequencies, of a national scope, for the provision of a publicly available land mobile service (LMS) in the 450-470 MHz frequency band, as provided for in the respective regulation (article 11).
The appointed commission is composed of the following persons: Luís Filipe Gouveia de Menezes (chairman), Maria Luísa Cordeiro Madeira Mendes and Maria Teresa Reis Sobral Lupi Caetano (members) and Luís Manuel Pestana Garcia Pereira (alternate).
