Brussels hosted last 29 January an IRG mini-plenary meeting that focused solely on studying alternatives to the European Commission proposal to create a European regulator for the electronic communications market (EECMA - the European Electronic Communications Markets Authority). The presidents of the national regulatory authorities (NRAs) present at the meeting, including ANACOM, decided to draw up a document with the basic principles of the alternative model, which will shortly be produced.
