ANACOM renews its support for the e-Vital campaign

In the wake of the e-vital Campaign for promotion and development of e-commerce amongst Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SME) co-ordinated by the Silicon Euro Info Centre in 2001, the second stage of the campaign is now being prepared, with renewed support from ANACOM.

The campaign's second stage is intended to respond to the difficulties of SMEs detected during seminars held during the campaign's first stage. SME's opinions will be collected for this purpose by means of a specific questionnaire, which will be used to prepare a survey on companies' access to e-commerce practises. Results and recommendations will then be presented.

ANACOM will once again be associated to this project and will award the "ANACOM-digital" prize to the SME that demonstrates greatest success and innovation in its adhesion to e-commerce. This prize will be awarded in the final Conference, due to take place in July or September, 2002.
