Summary: This report contains the main results of the study ordered to a number of entities by the European Parliament’s Committee for Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE), with the purpose of assessing some of the fundamental aspects of the international roaming regulation proposal presented by the European Commission.

This report examines the applicability and efficiency of the measures supported by the Commission proposal, which, among other, create the “Mechanism of the Domestic European Market” and sets information and transparency requirements on the roaming costs charged by mobile network operators.
