Contact Network of Spam Authorities (CNSA) - Brussels

Brussels hosted on 19 January the seventh meeting of the national authorities responsible for the issue of unsolicited communications (spam), attended by representatives of authorities from most member States of the European Union and the European Economic Area. The participants discussed intra-community co-Operation in the fight against spam, co-ordination between authorities and industry, best practices in spam investigation, international co-operation and the revision of community legislation in this area. The group?s working programme for the year 2006 was also determined.
