WG ITU - St. Cergue

/ Updated on 12.02.2008
The Swiss town of St. Cergue served as venue for the 7-8 July meeting of the CEPT group responsible for European co-ordination on issues concerning the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The meeting?s main goal was to prepare for the ITU Council session to take place in the two following weeks (12-22 July 2005). The issues on the Council agenda that were held to be most relevant for CEPT were thus considered, specifically the budget for the 2006-2007 biennium, continuation of the Council Oversight Group (COG), reports from the various Council working groups that will report to that session, and some aspects associated to the next ITU Plenipotentiary Conference (PP06), namely the co-ordination of European candidates.
