On 23 January 2024, following a request from Dense Air Portugal (Dense Air), ANACOM approved the revocation of the company’s right of use for frequencies in the 3.6 GHz band granted prior to the 5G auction.
In its decision, ANACOM makes the following determinations:
- To partially grant Dense Air’s request by revoking the right of use for frequencies allocated to it in the 3.6 GHz band prior to the 5G auction, currently contained in ANACOM Title No 5/2021, with effect from the date of submission of the request (14 July 2023);
- To reject Dense Air’s request to give retroactive effect to the act of revocation of the right of use referred to in the previous point, with effect from 4 November 2020.
On this date, the report of the prior hearing and public consultation was also approved, procedures to which the draft decisionhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1757646, approved on 3 October 2023, was subject.
