On 8 August 2023, ANACOM approved a draft decision (DD) on the cost of capital rate for MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO), applicable for the financial year 2023.
In the context of the 2023 results of MEO’s cost accounting system, the Authority considers that the cost of capital rate of 4.6962 % should be used.
This DD is subject to a prior hearing of interested parties and the general consultation procedure for a period of 30 working days. The public consultation will last until 22 September 2023, and interested parties can submit their contributions in writing and in Portuguese, preferably by e-mail to ccapital.meo2023@anacom.ptmailto:ccapital.meo2023@anacom.pt.
