ANACOM ends assignment phase and approves draft auction report

Following the end of the bidding phase on 27 October 2021, ANACOM held on 29 October 2021, and under the provisions of paragraphs 5 and 7 of Article 35 of the Auction Regulation, the face-to-face session of assignment, aimed at the choice, by the winning bidders, of the exact location of the lots won within the 700 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2.6 GHz (FDD) and 3.6 GHz frequency bands.

Having completed the assignment phase for the 700 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2.6 GHz (FDD) and 3.6 GHz frequency bands, in which ANACOM validated the choices of the winning bidders, on 4 November 2021 the regulator approved the draft report of the auction, in compliance with Article 36 of the Auction Regulation. This report is subject to a prior hearing of the candidates and bidders for a period of 10 days (i.e., until 18 November), pursuant to Articles 121 et seq. of the Code of Administrative Procedure.

Subsequently, ANACOM will, within 5 days, approve the final report of the auction and adopt the decision on the allocation of rights of use of frequencies to the winning bidders.
