On 15 July 2021, ANACOM approved the final determination on the migration of 112 (national emergency number) and 117 (national forest protection number) traffic to IP interconnection.
The prior hearing and public consultation report was also approved, procedures to which the respective draft decisionhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1649421, which had been approved on 29 April 2021, was submitted, and within the scope of which the contributions of the following entities were received by the due date: General Secretariat of the Ministry of Internal Administration; MEO – Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia; NOS Group (NOS Comunicações, NOS Açores Comunicações and NOS Madeira Comunicações); Vodafone Portugal – Comunicações Pessoais; NOWO Communications and ONITELECOM – Infocomunicação (joint statement).
