Review of regulatory costs of postal services for 2020

By decision taken on 20 May 2021, ANACOM approved (i) the review of the value of the regulatory costs of the activity of provider of postal services, regarding the fees to be paid in 2020, from EUR 2 531 166 to EUR 2 555 166, due to the correction of the value of regulatory costs in the item of provisions for legal proceedings associated with the postal service sector; (ii) the review of the value of the t2 contribution rate to be applied to the relevant income of providers of postal services, with reference to 2020, from 0.2705% to 0.2732%.

The additional settlement of the annual fee due for the activity of provider of postal services for 2020 was also approved, in the amount of EUR 24 000, in accordance with paragraphs 2 and 3 of Annex IX to Administrative Rule No 1473-B/2008, of 17 December, as amended by Administrative Rule No 296-A/2013https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1180549, of 2 October, and in accordance with article 44 of the Postal Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1127982.
