Decision on requests submitted by NOS seeking allocation of frequencies in the 900 MHz and 2100 MHz bands

On 23 December 2019, ANACOM approved a decision on requests received from NOS Comunicações seeking allocation of frequencies in the 900 MHz and 2100 MHz bands.

Approval was also given to the report on the prior hearing and public consultation, procedures to which the corresponding draft decision was submitted (draft decisionhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1493045 approved on 22 October 2019). In response to these procedures, timely contributions were received from: MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia; NOS Comunicações, NOS Açores Comunicações and NOS Madeira Comunicações; Nowo Communications and Onitelecom Infocomunicações; Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais.
