The Portuguese Committee of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI) launched a call for papers for the Best Student Paper Award during the preparation of its 13th congress, which will be held on 17 December 2019, in Lisbon, dedicated to the theme of “Space: Challenges and Opportunities”.
With a view to encouraging young Portuguese authors, ANACOM sponsors the Best Student Paper Award, that will be given to the best article submitted by a student who is also the first author and presents it at the congress, in pitch format of 3 to 5 minutes.
Scientific articles that have not yet been published may be submitted, up to 3 December 2019, on the defined scientific areas.
Applications should be made together with the submission of the article, and ANACOM may require confirmation of academic situation.
The Portuguese Committee of the URSI, with ANACOM's sponsorship, will also attribute the "ANACOM-URSI Portugal Award", distinguishing the best research work in the area of radioelectricity, containing a relevant contribution to science. Applications may also be submitted up to 3 December 2019.
