Public consultation on ERG/IRG Work Programme for 2004

The European Regulators Group (ERG) launched on 16 December a public consultation on the joint draft work programme for the ERG and the Independent Regulators Group (IRG), focusing on matters related to the implementation of the new regulatory framework, mobile markets, fixed/broadband networks, regulatory obligations and matters related to consumers.

In the origin of this public consultation, which also includes the ERG draft annual report (2003) is the decision adopted in the last plenary meeting of this group, so that both entities should havea joint work programme for 2004.

Comments can be sent until 20 January 2004, by email, to the address erg-secretariat@cec.eu.int. Still in the scope of this public consultation, a public hearing will take place, in Brussels, on 14 January 2004. The interested parties should send their participation requests, by email, until 7 January 2004.
