On 11 October 2018, ANACOM approved a draft decision on the results of the audits performed on the quality levels of the universal postal service in 2016 and 2017, concerning quality of service indicators and indicators on complaints and requests for information reported by CTT - Correios de Portugal (CTT).
ANACOM has announced the results of the performed auditing and issued determinations and recommendations to adapt the procedures used to measure the quality indicators of the universal postal service.
It was also decided to send to CTT a copy of the final reports of the audit, as well as to initiate the necessary measures to make a proposal to the Government on amendments to article 13 of Lei Postal (Postal Law) regarding the measurement of the quality levels of the universal postal service.
ANACOM decided to submit this draft decision to the prior hearing of CTT, pursuant to articles 121 and 122 of Código do Procedimento Administrativo (Administrative Proceeding Code), and to public consultation, pursuant to article 9 of Lei Postal (Postal Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1127982). For both procedures, interested parties are given a period of 20 working days in which to comment (comments in writing and in Portuguese).
