Approval given to transfer of rights of use of numbering to MEO

By decision of 14 June 2018, and in accordance with the provisions of its statuteshttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1351851 and with articles 17, 37 and 38 of Lei das Comunicações Eletrónicas (Electronic Communications Lawhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=975162), ANACOM has recognised the transfer of rights of use of numbering resulting from the merger by incorporation of MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO) (formerly TMN - Telecomunicações Móveis Nacionais) into PT Comunicações (renamed MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia). This decision takes effect as from 29 December 2014.

It was also decided (i) to make these rights of use of numbering subject to MEO's compliance with the conditions established in article 37 of the LCE, under the terms defined in the decision, and (ii) to approve the report of the prior hearing of MEO, to which the respective draft decision was submitted (draft decision of 5 April 2018https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1433555).
