Brussels hosted last 23 March the first meeting of members of the project requirement document (PRD) on Data Economy of BEREC’s working group on Market Economic Analysis. The national regulatory authorities (NRAs) debated their understanding of the data economy’s role in the telecom sector and its impact on the application of regulation. The main points to discuss in future sessions were determined and, notably, an internal seminar was scheduled, so that NRAs with relevant experience can share the results of their work and analyses.
In a later phase the project also envisages discussion of key topics and trends with a large group of relevant stakeholders (institutional and market operators).
