A meeting took place between ANACOM and MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia on 10 April 2018, at ANACOM's head office in Lisbon.
The meeting dealt with issues related to the restoration of infrastructure and the re-connection of customers impacted by forest fires, the study and implementation of measures to ensure the protection and resilience of electronic communications networks, the implementation of a population warning system, the sharing and the renovation of submarine cables between Mainland Portugal and the Autonomous Regions, and access to and sharing of other infrastructure.
