The 36th meeting of the project team on Future Numbering Issues of the ECC’s WG NaN was held last 30-31 January in the Hague.
The regulators who participated debated the latest information regarding numbering, particularly mechanisms to consider to increase transparency in the extraterritorial use of numbers covered by ITU Recommendation E.164 (the International Public Telecommunications Numbering Plan) for machine-to-machine (M2M) services and the preparation of work to develop a new work item on sub-allocation of numbering resources.
The next meeting is scheduled for April of this year in Riga, Latvia.
