IP Interconnection - notification to the European Commission

By decision of 16 November 2017, ANACOM has approved a draft final decision on IP interconnection to be notified to the European Commission, the Body of European Regulators of Electronic Communications (BEREC) and to the national regulatory authorities of the other Member States of the European Union.

Approval was likewise given to the report on the prior hearing and consultation to which the respective draft decision was submitted (draft decision approved on 4 August 2017https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1416453); in response to these procedures contributions were received from IP Telecom, MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia, NOS Comunicações, NOS Açores Comunicações and NOS Madeira Comunicações, NOWO Communications and ONITELECOM - Infocomunicações, and from Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais. A further contribution was received from an individual citizen, but was not considered, since it was received after the time limit for the receipt of contributions had expired.
