A videoconference meeting of drafters of the Market and Economic Analysis working group was held last 12 September, focusing on the project requirement definition for mergers and acquisitions. The participants discussed in detail the quality of data provided by the IDATE/Tarifica consortium and the econometric model used to assess the impact of mergers and acquisitions that have taken place in the mobile communications market in Germany, Austria and Ireland, specifically vis-à-vis prices and investments.
