The Communications Committee met last 9 July in Brussels, where the European Commission informed the Committee about the current situation of various dossiers, specifically: i) work of Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) group; ii) transposition of Directive 2014/61/EC on cost-cutting measures in broadband implementation; iii) implementation of the Telecoms Single Market Regulation (including net neutrality guidelines and roaming revision); iv) revision of the ePrivacy Directive; and v) Europe’s Digital progress report. Also presented was the revision of the MSS working group’s terms of reference.
