The working group on Digital Economy and Internet Access in the scope of the Union for the Mediterranean met for the second time on 19-20 April in Barcelona. ANACOM represented Portugal in this group, which covers various areas of government responsibility and also involves private sector representatives. Among other points, the 2016 project implementation plan was determined, notably the specific action line on the regulatory framework’s approximation to the telecom sector, which should be developed in partnership with EMERG.
