Brussels hosted last 10 March a meeting of the Regulatory Framework expert working group, focusing on implementation of the directive to lower the cost of installing broadband networks. The status of this directive's transposition in the member states attending the meeting was analysed, also using the latest figures from the Communications Committee. In that regard, candidates were also identified (including possible dates) with a view to taking part in the workshop on the subject to be held by BEREC in the second half of 2016. Finally, main aspects of the aforementioned directive that had raised questions regarding transposition were discussed.
