The February 2016 issue of the Spectru monthly bulletin reports on the new electronic tool made available by ANACOM to ascertain the quality of digital terrestrial TV network signal and on temporary use of the 1850-2000 kHz band by amateur service per the conditions set in the National Table of Frequency Allocations for the 1830-1850 kHz band.

Other highlights include the decisions on spectrum availability in the 3.4-3.8 GHz frequency band and the expiration of regulatory obligations imposed on MEO-Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia.

Also disclosed are the release of studies on regulatory impact analysis and substitutability between fixed broadband and mobile broadband.
