DICON 2001 - European Digital Contents Competition

The Dicon 2001 Project - European Digital Contents Competition is a business ideas competition in the area of digital contents aimed at small enterprises and individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit. Co-financed by the European Commission within the scope of the eContent Programme, its first and foremost objective is the dynamization of the European digital contents industry and bringing together entrepreneurs and investors.

Applications can be submitted by filling up the form available on Dicon's official website: (www.dicon2001.com) before 6pm CET on the 15th of September 2001. The 12 best business ideas will undergo a second evaluation phase, in which they have to present their respective proposals and be interviewed by the Jury during the `Dicon Days' seminar. This takes place on the 22nd and 23rd of November 2001, and at the end the big winners of the Dicon competition will be announced.

Thus ICP intends to promote and publicise the Dicon 2001 Project and the cycle of seminars dedicated to the subject of digital contents and venture capital access, which are currently taking place within the scope of this competition throughout the European Union.
