Electronic communications universal service compensation fund - undertakings required to contribute and determination of the amounts of the contributions relating to the CLSU (2010-2011 and 2014)

On 28 January 2016, ANACOM approved a decision identifying the undertakings required to contribute to the electronic communications universal service compensation fund and determining the amounts of the contributions in respect of the CLSU - Custos Líquidos do Serviço Universal (Net Costs of Universal Service) to be compensated for the 2010-2011 period (CLSU approved in 2014) and for 2014 (the period subsequent to designation of universal service providers by tender).

Approval was also given to the report on the prior hearing to which the respective draft decision was submitted following ANACOM decision of 17 December 2015. In response to the prior hearing, comments were received from the following undertakings: MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia, NOS Comunicações, NOS Madeira Comunicações, NOS Açores Comunicações and Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais.
