In the framework of cooperation with the Euro-Mediterranean Regulators Group (EMERG), the second joint BEREC-EMERG workshop was held on 16-17 December 2015 in Brussels, focusing on the “NRA’s decision-making process, accountability and transparency”. The aim was to share best practices in the regulatory decision-making processes, paying special attention to aspects such as independence, transparency and the appeal of regulators’ decisions. Participants included the co-chair of BEREC’s expert working group (EWG) on Regulatory Framework and from the European Commission (EC), as well as representatives of the national regulatory authorities (NRAs) of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Lithuania, Palestine, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia and Turkey.
