Study conducted by ANACOM on trends in broadband Internet access in Portugal, including fixed access and mobile access to the Internet using cards, measured based on upload and download speeds and latency. In this context, tests were performed by destination server and at different geographical levels (municipalities, groups of municipalities and districts).
To carry out this study, data was obtained from Ookla on the results of test performed by Portugal IP address from mid-2006 to the end of 2014; this data covers 29.2 million tests of residential and business accesses, fixed accesses and mobile accesses with cards.
