The CERP working group (WG) responsible for European coordination of matters involving the Universal Postal Union (UPU) held a meeting last 23 October in Belgrade, chaired by Norway.
Several countries took part, among them Portugal, along with observers from the UPU and the Association of European Public Postal Operators (PostEurop).
The working group studied documents concerning the UPU Council of Administration (CA), which met in Berne last 3-14 November, paying special attention to those deemed to have the most impact for European regulators and policymakers.
It was agreed that the group should also meet during the UPU CA.
The date and place of the next regular WG UPU meeting has yet to be decided, though it should take place before the next UPU CA meeting, whose preparation will be the main agenda point.
