INE - Instituto Nacional de Estatística (Statistics Portugal) has released the main results of statistics on the transport and communications activity in 2013.
In terms of telecommunications, there is a notable difference between the trend reported in voice traffic originating on the mobile network, which totalled 22,200 million minutes ( 4.7 percent) and in the short message service (SMS), which saw 1.1 billion fewer messages sent than in 2012 (-3.9 percent).
