The ERGP Steering Group met last 16 September in Romania. The gathering basically focused on the following: (i) presentation of current status of ongoing work in the various subgroups; (ii) start of the public consultation on universal postal service, to run from 18 September to 14 November, and the subsequent workshop to be held in Budapest on 19 November before the ERGP plenary meeting; and (iii) discussion of the ERGP's work programme for 2014.
