ERG launches a public consultation on FL-LRIC cost modelling

/ Updated on 09.07.2004

The European Regulators Group (ERG) launched, in 30 July, a public consultation aiming to define an ERG common position on FL-LRIC (Forward Looking - Long Run Incremental Costs) cost modelling.

On the basis of this document were the Principles of Implementation and Best Practice (PIB) adopted by the Independent Regulators Group (IRG) in November 2000.

Comments should be sent until 7 September, in electronic version.

The publication of the ERG common position is planned for November.

The ERG, created in July 2002, is a body of reflection, debate and advice of the European Commission, with a view to consolidation of the internal market for electronic communications networks and services, assuming the role of privileged interlocutor between the national regulatory authorities and the Commission.
